A 4-trip ticket is valid for four single trips. Make sure to validate the ticket before starting the trip either on the platform or when boarding the bus. The ticket is then valid for two hours. Stops and transfers in the same direction are allowed, but round and return trips are not permitted.
The ticket is valid within the Tübingen city fare zone (transit map).
Up to four children under age six can travel at no extra charge if accompanied by an adult in possession of a valid 4-trip ticket.
You can buy 4-trip tickets – including in advance – at all points of sale and at our ticket machines on the buses.
If you are travelling with a 4-trip ticket, you have to validate it before starting the trip. The ticket validator is always located in the front area of the bus. If there is no ticket validator or it is not working, you can validate a blank field yourself by clearly entering the date, time and line number. This also applies if you have a bicycle or pram and would like to use the middle door to board the bus.
Holders of the KreisBonusCard who live in Tübingen can buy discounted tickets (4-trip tickets for adults or children, monthly travel card for adults and monthly student travel card) at selected TüBus points of sale. This option is only available within the Tübingen city fare zone.
